Lime Crime Nail Polishes: Kawaii Nails

So you may remember a few weeks ago when I did a post on Lime Crime's new nail polishes: Les Desserts D'Antoinette. And I couldn't resist them, with their gorgeous bottles and even more delicious product pictures involving desserts. So I caved and bought two bottles (better than the whole set right?). I got the pink and the blue. They arrived very soon after I ordered, maybe about 3 days. Pretty fast in my opinion, and they arrived in that super cute purple box complete with LC's signature unicorn logo and a quote from Doe Deere. I was also surprised at how big the bottles actually are. And if it is  possible, they are even more pretty in person. I love their frosted glass finish!

They now have a place on my dresser in my mirrored vanity tray. I'm re-doing my room, so I will probably post some pictures of it soon so look out for that. Anyway, on the website the description of the blue said "tiffany blue" but it looked much more like a typical pastel blue in the photo. It still looked that way when I got it, but when I put it on it was much more teal and so pretty! I paired it with a silver french tip that I painted on by hand for a cute Tiffany's inspired look. I really like these polishes, good quality and even coverage (this is with two coats and a top coat). They started chipping after about a week but I think that's to be expected. I think they are worth buying just for the bottles, but don't forget they only ship to the US.

I haven't tried the pink yet, so I will have to post my feedback on that one later. I just finished doing the Galaxy nails from last week's post. They actually came out pretty good, but not as good as hers! I need some more practice, haha >_<
